Shekdur Campsite is the first stop on the Kashmir Great Lakes trek (also known as Tabletop). It is made up of a large grassland with flat meadows that is surrounded by forest and mountains. From a distance, the Sonmarg valley can be seen. The sunrise is truly spectacular from here. There is also a shepherd’s hut where refreshments such as tea and kahwa can be obtained.
