Introduction

Kedarkantha is a small hill station that lies in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. It is located around 70 km from Jaipur and is well connected by road and train. The trek to this beautiful hill station offers tourists an opportunity to visit pristine forests, rivers, lakes and caves on their way back down from Kedarkantha.

About the destination

Kedarkantha Trek is one of the most popular treks in Garhwal Himalayas. It is a trek for the brave hearted people who want to explore their inner self and learn more about nature at its best. The trek starts from Badrinath and ends at Kedarkantha temple, which lies on top of 13,000 feet high mountain range called Padmavati peak.

The whole journey takes about 3 days to complete but you can also go for half-day option if you don’t have enough time or money to spend on this trip! The route passes through beautiful valleys and forests with snow covered peaks all around them which makes it even more interesting than other treks available in Uttarakhand region like Gangotri & Yamunotri etc..

Trek difficulty

The Kedarkantha trek is a challenging trek. It requires good physical fitness and some experience in hiking, mountain climbing and camping. The best time to undertake this trek is from June to October when temperatures are moderate and there is little rain. However, if you want to go for a winter vacation then you should avoid taking this trip during February or March because it will be too cold for your comfort level.

Cost of the trek

The cost of the trek is dependent on the number of days you are planning to trek. The higher it goes, the more expensive it becomes. It also depends on how many people are in your group and where you choose to start the hike. If there are less than 3 people per person on average per night (including food), then it will be cheaper than if there is more than 3 people per person per night (including food).

The season also plays a huge role in determining how much money one should spend on this adventure trip to Kedarkantha Trek! Since there are seasons like winter and summer which have different temperature levels etc., so if someone wants to go for their adventure tour during these two seasons then they should consider going earlier or later respectively because these two seasons affect different things about us like weather conditions etc., so please think carefully before choosing any particular time period like winter or summer!

Delhi to Kedarkantha

Day 1, leave Delhi early in the morning and reach Kedarkantha by noon. We recommend that you stay at a budget hotel or lodge for the night before starting your trek as it will be dark by 4pm and there would not be enough light during evening hours. You may also want to take some food items with you in case it gets late at night and there are no shops nearby where you can buy them yourself (e.g., biscuits).

Kedarkantha to Ghangharia

After breakfast at your lodge/hotel on Day 2 of your trekking trip, head out for an overnight stay in Ghangharia where we recommend staying at Hotel East View Lodge which is located closeby from our accommodation point along with many other hotels nearby providing similar services such as rooms with ACs etcetera – depending upon what type of accommodation suits best for yourself!
